Jade Pybus graduated with a 1st class BA Honours in Music and Visual Art at Brighton University. Her passion for the arts led her to collaborate with artist Mikhail Karikis, lending her vocal expertise for ‘The voice and everything else’, Tate Modern, and performing in Karikis work ‘XENON’, an exploded opera.

Over the past 10 years Pybus has composed award winning music for film, television and advertising campaigns. She has also released commercial music via some of the most respected record labels in the industry, including Ninja Tune, Brainfeeder, Houndstooth, Planet Mu and Dirtybird Records, touring the UK and Europe (performing live).

Her recent work includes soundtracks for several installations by world-renowned artist Es Devlin. As well as Pybus’s own solo audio-visual installation works including 'Colour Choir', exploring the relationship between voice, colour, and space, funded by ‘Grants for the Arts’, Arts Council England.

In 2019 Pybus co-founded Polyphonia specialising in the creation and design of immersive audio for multidisciplinary projects including installations, mixed reality and gallery works.
